2005 Volklaufe Independence Day Races - July 4

Hello Runners! Scroll down this page to see the highlights gallery from the run. Click a thumbnail to enlarge the picture. (I have modified all these photos for color, contrast, and cropping from the original photos. I have also added a logo for posting to the website.)

To Find Your Pictures: I have posted the photos to the Photoreflect picture ordering service. The big blue bar on the top of this page will link you directly to the Volkslaufe gallery. All (near) start line photos are posted in the order that they were taken. 10K runners: Your pictures were taken after leaving the covered bridge. Pictures are divided into groups of about 150 pictures, with the finishing chip time of the last runner of the group being posted. If the 20K pace car passed you before the bridge, look under the 20K photos. 20K runners: Most of your pictures were taken after leaving the covered bridge. Pictures are divided into groups of about 150 pictures, with the finishing chip time of the last runner of the group being posted. I was only able to catch a few 20K runners after the start of the 5K. If you were passed by the 5K lead runner, please look under the 5K group for your photos. 5K runners: Your pictures were taken at the grassy finish line. These also divided into groups of 150 photos, labeled with the chip time of the last runner in the group. 2K runners: Sorry, but there are no start line photos. All photos were taken at the finish line.

To Purchase Prints: I have posted the photos to the Photoreflect picture ordering service. Please place your order through their site. (The big blue bar on the top of this page will link you directly to the Volkslaufe gallery.) I will adjust the photos for color, brightness, and cropping before sending them to the printer! All photos will be printed with luster finish (glossy only if requested) I have inspected every photo on the Photoreflect gallery, and have removed those that are out of focus. Prices are $30 for 11x14, $20 for 8x10, $10 for 5x7 and $5 for 4x6. There is no shipping charge for orders of $20 or more (otherwise $4 for orders under $20). Please email me for any special orders or requests (including photo enlargements up to 20x30).

Please Note: There is a comments section on Photoreflect where you can give me special instructions about your order. For 11x14, 8x10, and 5x7 prints you have the option of having your picture labeled with: "2005 Volkslaufe Run". (not 4x6s or wallets) Also, if you want the distance and chip time included to this label, please give me the distance and chip times in the comments section. Thanks.
